The joy of niching is that you may design your offering to resonate with a specific audience, but that does not mean you will not still catch the eye of those surrounding you. It then becomes your choice how exclusive your specialized brand is.
Brands also often have multiple target audiences or personas.
I love this question, and it’s one I’ve discussed often. In my opinion, both pronunciations of Niche are correct. Where the US commonly pronounces it, Nitch, countries that follow UK spelling conventions, often pronounce it as ‘Neesh.’ Some think this may come from the assumed French roots of the word itself.
I see it simply as a great oppertunity to talk about my favourite subject.
